Searching for the perfect wedding photographer is a daunting task. It’s fairly simple to find a body of work you like, and maybe even to connect on a personality level, but when it comes to pricing… one word: confusing.
Before I partnered with Tammy to form Sorelle Photography, I constantly struggled with pricing. I changed my model more times than I can count, always seeking to find the right formula to make my clients happy and still maintain profitability. I’m telling you… this is a delicate balancing act and I’m not ashamed to admit that I never mastered it.
So, when Tammy and I started talking about developing an innovative (though now it’s becoming more mainstream) pricing structure, I was super excited!
“Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything”. Plato
I don’t think I have ever heard anyone ever say I dislike or even hate music. Music moves everyone! It can make you feel deep gratitude, pump you up, make you feel sentimental or work out your anger. That’s why there are so many different genres of music in our small little world – Blues, Pop, Reggae, R&B, Rock, Alternative, Christian… the list goes on and on. READ MORE
Something magical happens almost immediately after a wedding proposal. It doesn’t matter if it’s an elaborate, romantic event or a quiet, intimate moment on the couch. Once he asks and she says yes, there is a transformation that takes place as she goes from girlfriend to bride-to-be.
Whatever your unique situation is, you’re going to need some inspiration! READ MORE
We all know what a typical bachelorette Party consist of… getting your girls together and going from club to club getting hammered. The obnoxious glitter tiara, the ::blush:: inappropriate accessories and massive hangover that greets you the next morning.
We have recently learned about a new idea that is transforming this traditional definition of the bachelorette party. They’re called Boudoir Bachelorette Parties and they’re popping up everywhere. Amber and I actually love doing boudoir sessions, so we were interested to learn more about what the hype was.
Why not indulge on “YOUR” night out?!?!? READ MORE

We are so excited to announce this giveaway!
Tammy and I are certainly not new to wedding photography, but 2013 is our first year in business together as Sorelle Photography, so we want to
a) get the word out that we’ve made this transition
b) celebrate this amazing partnership with a huge giveaway!
So, here it is…
We are giving away an ENTIRE day of wedding photography to a lucky couple getting married THIS year!
Wedding days are by nature full of things to check off your list – hair, makeup, photos… We think a “First Look” is the very best way to slow down, remember the reason for the day, and to just breathe for a bit before the big event begins.
While we certainly adore our traditional brides and respect that choice, we think that sometimes these brides miss out on the truly magical moments of the “First Look”! READ MORE
A Wedding Day Timeline can be a lifesaver. What Bride wants every vendor to ask her a million questions on the day of the wedding???……And not just the vendors, but the Wedding Party and everyone else that is involved on your big day as well.
You just want everything to flow. No stress… no worries… just being engulfed in the love and energy of the day itself. READ MORE
So, you’re going to write your own vows… how romantic! I love when couples incorporate their own vows during their ceremony. Not only is it a sweet moment that we ALL get to share with the couple, but there is nothing more tender than the feelings exchanged while they are sharing their vows. There is so much love and emotion, it engulfs everyone around the couple. It’s almost like a bubble of love… or that’s how I imagine it. READ MORE
A lot of photographers advertise that they are a lifestyle photographer… but what does that mean? Is it a trend? Is it a style?
I think it’s both. Lifestyle photography has been around forever and it’s been called lots of different things. Street photography, candid photography, photojournalistic photography. They all mean the same thing to me… capturing moments. Real life. Unposed, raw and emotional images that speak to you… move you. Tammy and I adore this style of photography and most of our images reflect this.
